The incredible TRUE STORY of how the first Vampire in literature was created. 📚🩸🦇
⚡⚡⚡It all started in 1816, on Lake Geneva, where four famous writers held the ghost story competition that spawned Frankenstein. 🧌👻🧛 But another story came out of this gathering, “The Vampyre”, which essentially creates the modern Vampire tale.
A scandal ensues over who actually wrote the story. ❤️ Lord Byron? 🍾 Percy Shelly? 💔 Mary Shelley? Or was it part of the hired help, John Polidori, Lord Byron’s long-suffering personal physician?🩺
In Monster Theatre’s classic irreverent style, we get to the bottom of how and why this story was written.
⚰️ Vampires! 🧛 Poetry! 📚 Blood! 🩸 Shadows! 🕯️ Betrayal! 💔 Monsters! 🧌
And, of course, the Ghost of Lord Byron! 👻
